Shine On!

Shine On, Sweet Friends!   Happy Sunday!  It's the start of a new week.  Time to let go of what didn't go well last week and look forward to new opportunities!  I'm sharing my Shine On Girl Canvas.  It's a 6 x 6 mixed media canvas that features several goodies from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. You can do it too!!

I started this canvas with a base layer of hymns and prayer--Timeless Hymns makes it easy to sing praises over my work!  After adding some color, I added the focal image from the Garden of Grace Printable Bundle--such a fantastic idea--this is such a versatile and craft kit!!  The digital images can be sized for any project and worked perfectly for this larger canvas.

Next, I added some gold texture paste with a stencil and paper pieced a designer paper shirt for the Shine On Girl.   The Shine On sentiment is from the brand new-swoon worthy Be Unique stamp set.  Finally, some paper flowers and sequins to add some bling.  I love her in real life......she's so sparkly!

Shine on--make it a great week! Jane

Stop, Drop and....

Just a quick little message for today from me and Sweet 'N Sassy stamps!  You're going to make it--the weekend is almost here....life is tough, but you are tougher and the One Who Created You is covering you!
Stop, Drop and Pray!  Also available immediately in digital form

Same stamp, two completely different looks.  The second card also features an embossed background I created using Scribble Flowers.  I used distress inks and some daubers to color the heat embossed images.

Be blessed--Jane

Happy Together

Who was lucky enough to be gifted with the So Happy set that was free with purchase during Sweet 'N Sassy Stamp's recent birthday celebration?  It's such a super versatile set, I just love it!!  The good news...you can purchase it NOW if you missed it the first time!

I borrowed the general idea for this card from some gifted stamper...I only wish I could track back to give credit to the correct one!  I can't honestly remember what the original card even looked like--but, I chose the adorable images from SNSS's You & Me stamp set.  I love the whole idea of this set--we go together like peanut butter and jelly, peas and carrots and doughnuts and coffee...too cute!  It's also available as a digital set.

It's a bunch of fun to play around with and a fun take on an anniversary card that steps away from the traditional flowery type of greetings.

Enjoy.  Be Awesome!

Don't Forget The Digi....

Happy Friday, Sweet Friends!

Every once in a while, I'm reminded how fun digital images can be.  Normally, I like old school stamping with ink and a stamp block in my hand.  Printers can be unpredictable and paper choices limited...BUT,

Digital images are great because you can resize them and manipulate them to exactly the right size and look for your project.  Oh, and did I mention, you can have them RIGHT AWAY???  Like life, pros and cons!

Today, I'm using the Doodle Flowers digital image from Sweet N Sassy stamps.  Be sure to check out the new additions to the digital stamps.  Rebecca Rios just designed several that are absolute must haves!

After my printer ink dried completely, I water colored the image and just added a few rhinestones for accents.  The sentiment is from Be Encouraged, also from Sweet N Sassy stamps.  Check 'em out!
