Coffee Lover’s Hop

Welcome to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers + Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop! We're so excited to be teaming up with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers design team to bring you some fabulous caffeinated inspiration.... and a PRIZE! Leave a little comment love at each stop as you hop for a chance to win a $25 gift code to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop.

If you've already been hopping along, you just left Karen's blog.  If not, you do not want to miss a thing!  To start from the beginning of the hop, head over to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog.   You can find the entire hop list on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog here.

Remember when repurposing household items to use with your card making was a thing?  Maybe some of you are still doing it; admittedly, it's been a while for me.  But, the packaging on my Peace Coffee was so colorful and fun, I just had to use it as a back drop for my first card.  Stamped images include the coffee cup with wrap from Sweet N Sassy Stamps' new I Like Big Cups set.  I also added to the tropical theme with a leaf from the Be A Flamingo set.  Birthday Wordfetti for the win when it comes to sentiments!  I love all the Wordfetti sets--they are super versatile!!  The big bonus for this card, though, is that it smells like a coffee shop--just the way I imagine heaven smells!

My second card features  water colored images from Coffee Talk with a fun background created with images from Texture Tiles 9.  I used my MISTI to place the two cups with heart shaped steam, added an embossed verse a scrap of patterned paper to pull the color scheme together and add a bit of interest.

Before I send you to Michelle's blog, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't remind you of the Overstock sale happening at Sweet N Sassy Stamps for a little while longer? Check it out until January 31st!

Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments--remember, leave a comment at all the stops for your chance to win a prize!!  You are going to be super inspired at your next stop, Michelle's blog!  Enjoy!!  TTFN, Jane

  16. OMGoodness... I love both of these cards, but I adore the tropical theme card the best; using your coffee package as the background is ingenious. So bright and colorful, and all the elements, the staples, leaf, touch of fabric and the weave textured cuzie on the cup are such special additional. And, yes, receiving a coffee card that actually smells like coffee... well what's not to love right? Thank you so much for sharing and please stay safe.
