Billy Graham passed on recently. My favorite news story about this great man started with a quote from him "Some day you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don't you believe a word of it." The rest reads like this: "I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God."
I have read and heard many of Pastor Graham's messages and ponderings on this world and beyond over the years, but this is, by far, one of my favorites. Why? Because, life.
Entrenched in the struggles, the highs and lows, this world offers, it is so easy to lose sight of what is true. It is so easy to get bogged down with the stress, the fear. Illness of a loved one, financial struggle, hurting kids, hurting adults, too much, too little.....life! I've been bogged down, fearful, stressed.
Where is your hope? Without hope, I cannot see to face tomorrow. And, so, I hope. I hope in the promise of the One True King---where is your hope?
So, I'm sharing some hope. Just a reminder that it does anchor your soul. It is what makes us ready to face tomorrow. I need that reminder at times. It's one of the reasons I adore working with Sweet 'N Sassy stamps! Not only do I have a community that loves and encourages me, all that we do is about the hope. This is one of my favorite images, Hope Anchors the Soul. As you can see from my two cards above, it is perfect for a quick card, a word of encouragement. You can find it HERE. Also, don't forget, today is the last day for this adorable stamp of the month!
Hoppy Easter is FREE with a $60 purchase today only!! Don't miss out!

Eggstra Special
Happy Saturday, Sweet Friends! February is quickly moving into March. I wanted to share a few more projects I made using the Sweet N Sassy Stamps FREE with purchase set for this month, Hoppy Easter.
Both cards started from the same piece of hand stamped designer paper. Using that adorable bunny, I randomly stamped a bunny pattern and then colorized using various Oxide Inks--what's more springy than a rainbow of colors!?
The first card is a shaker filled with all types of shiney things! The featured sentiment is also from Hoppy Easter.
Not just for Easter, the second card also features a sentiment from the set and would make a great birthday or thinking of you card.
As you can see, it's a versatile set....and, did I mention, it's FREE!!
Stop on over at the SNSS shop and see for yourself.....lots of goodies just waiting for you!

Sweet Spring
I started my creation with a swatch of fabric that seemed a perfect fit with the feel and style of the Whimsical Bouquet stamp set from Sweet N Sassy Stamps:
After sewing the fabric to a card stock base, I stamped, embossed and layered various stems and flowers to create a bouquet of my own. It was great therapy to trim each piece—I love me some good ol’ fussy cutting!
To finish things off, I used this months FREE with purchase set, Hoppy Easter, to add the perfect sentiment. (Also from SNSS) Another great, versatile set!
Be inspire...get inky....be awesome!

Chosen, Forgiven and Free
Happy Monday! It’s been a long day and one that needs a reminder for my tired, weary heart. So, I thought I’d share a card featuring Hello My Name Is clear stamp set from Sweet ‘N Sassy Stamps.
I created my background using several distress inks, various sentiments from the set and a basic resist technique. For a little added interest and contrast, I used some stripey paper and sparkly star sequins for finishing touches.

The “name tag” trio repeats background colors and serves as a great reminder. When I’m feeling like I just can’t win, I need to remember that the battle is already won.
You know?
Sincerely,
Chosen, Forgiven & Free
